Alexandra is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the Commonwealth of Virginia. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Florida State University and then pursued her Master’s of Clinical Social Work from Florida State University.

Alexandra has twelve years of experience working in Florida and Virginia providing mental health treatment to individuals and families. In Florida, Alexandra provided child centered play therapy to children at clinics, schools, and foster care facilities. In Virginia, Alexandra spent several years provided intensive counseling to children and families with a variety of challenges in their homes and in the community. Alexandra also provided outpatient counseling to children and families. Alexandra spent one year volunteering with children with behavioral and emotional needs in Nepal. She has specialized training in using child centered play therapy, relaxation, mindfulness, and expressive arts modalities. Alexandra will also often use positive psychology, solution focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy in her work with clients. She has experience working with adjustment disorders, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, social skills, trauma, grief, divorce, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.
