Welcome to Meagan Schmidt, MA

Alexandria Place Therapy, LLC welcomes Meagan Schmidt as a Resident in Counseling to the Alexandria Place Therapy team.

Meagan received her undergraduate degree from Montana State University and then pursued her Master of Arts in Family, Marriage and Couples Counseling with a specialization in Play Therapy from George Fox University in Portland, Oregon.  She is currently working toward licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Licensed Professional Counselor.

Meagan provides individual, family and group therapy in different settings, addressing issues that include ADHD, adjustment, anxiety, abuse, autism, and child-parent relationship.  Meagan has specialized training in play therapy, expressive arts therapy, international therapy, trauma and child-parent relationship training (CPR-T).
